Meadow on the banks of the Mosson: Go on a guided 3h/3.5 hour electric bike ride!

Meadow on the banks of the Mosson

This very green itinerary is divided between bucolic parks and history.

Leave the city center and head for Ovalie, one of Montpellier’s last remaining districts, around the Yves-du-Manoir sports complex built in 2003 for the 2007 Rugby World Cup. Take rue du mas du Jaume out of the district, skirting the vineyards of Domaine du Rieucoulon to join chemin du Bugarel .Which runs through the heart of the countryside, then skirt Parc du Terral to reach the banks of the Mosson.

After a break in these bucolic meadows, get back on the bike to admire the fountain of the Laverune church, and visit the park of the sumptuous Château des Evêques, a residence that once welcomed Catherine de Médicis.

Return to Montpellier via the new cycle paths through the Paul-Valéry district.
